Internal Methods of Breast Enlargement
Last Updated: July 27, 2006
Internal methods of breast enlargement seem to be the most popular "natural" breast enlargement method mentioned on the internet and in magazines. Internal breast enlargement methods are taken by mouth (swallowed) in capsule, tablet, or liquid dropper (tincture) form. Most of these pills and liquids contain herbal ingredients, but others contain glandulars, such as bovine ovary.
Please read both the advantages and the disadvantages before deciding on what route you want to take. As always, we encourage you to consult with your doctor or health care professional for information about any of the methods, especially the ones that involve medical procedures or anything that is ingested. Click on the name of each method for information.

Introduction
Almost 100 breast enlargement pill companies exist today. The majority of them manufacture and/or distribute breast enlargement products that consist of herbal formulae. Some products contain as little as one herb, while others contain up to 26 herbs. The effect of these herbs on breast tissue needs more research as it seems that only the commercial breast enlargement product sites provide most of the information. For now, we will explain the mechanism of herbal breast enlargement according to how the commericial breast enlargement companies explain it.
How They Work
According to the commericial breast enlargement product websites, breast enlargement herbs contain phytoestrogens (plant compounds that act like estrogens) that work by regulating hormones and increasing growth factor compounds. Supposedly, this hormonal effect on the body causes breast tissue growth, similar to that of puberty. Commericial breast enlargement websites say that phytoestrogenic herbs are safer than actual estrogen or other hormones because phytoestrogens are not really hormones; rather, they just act like hormones with a weak estrogenic effect.
Common Ingredients
Herbal breast enlargement products usually consist of one or more herbs, the most so far being 26 herbs. Most, but not all, of these herbs are phytoestrogenic, meaning that they have a weak estrogenic effect in the body.

Bovine Ovary
Introduction
Not many bovine ovary breast enlargement pills exist. Our current research has documented 86 brands of herbal breast enlargement pills and only three (3) bovine ovary brands. Bovine ovary is the main ingredient in these types of breast enlargement pills. Since very few brands of bovine ovary breast enlargement pills exist, information about it is limited. The effect of bovine ovary on the body needs more research, especially since we very few sources of information about it. So far, all of the bovine ovary brands we have found are in capsule form.
Additional Information
According to Avalon Therapeutics, its product Bountiful Breast (formerly known as Wonderbreast) is the original bovine ovary natural breast enlargment product, and it existed before herbal breast enlargement products did. Avalon Therapeutics also claims that another product, Ultra Breast, has copied the Bountiful Breast formula. Unlike Bountiful Breast, Ultra Breast contains ipriflavone, which, according to Avalon Therapeutics, is "a semisynthetic version of an isoflavone found in soy" (Avalon Therapeutics). Avalon Therapeutics continues to say the following:
Ultrabreast's own website has the information that soy based products block thryoid hormone activity, of course they also got that information from us. Yet they still use ipriflavone because they do not know what ipriflavone is. Originally we had to threaten to sue them as they copied our website word for word. (Avalon Therapeutics)
Avalon Therapeutics says that their product Bountiful Breast is the only patent pending breast enlargement pill. They also state that their product contains additional ingredients that are not found in other bovine ovary pills and that their product is homeopathic.
Avalon Therapeutics reports that Sara Lee Corporation sued them because of the use of the word "wonder" in the product WonderBreast, which is the old name for the product Bountiful Breast. Sara Lee has an undergarment product line that has a brand name that contains the word "wonder" in it. Even though dietary supplements and undergarments are different categories, Sara Lee sued Avalon Therpeutics anyway, and this forced Avalon Therapeutics to change their product name from WonderBreast to Bountiful Breast. Sara Lee Corporation owns many brands including Hillshire Farms, Maiden Form, Hanes, Secret Treasures, Sara Lee Food, and more brands. Sara Lee is a huge and extremely rich corporation, so regardless if their claims are valid or invalid, they still have the money to pay to file lawsuits.
How They Work
Bovine ovary breast enlargement pills are similar to herbal breast enlargement pills in that they cause a hormonal effect similar to that of puberty on the body. The companies claim that bovine ovary stimulates the pituitary gland to produce fat in the breasts. However, bovine ovary pills differ from herbal breast enlargement pills since the bovine ovary method requires extra protein intakes.
