Push-Up Bras and Padded Bras

Push-up bras and padded bras are designed to enhance the breasts. Push-up bras work by pushing the breasts together to create cleavage, and padded bras are filled with foam or cloth to add inches to your bust. Some bras do both. Most of these types of bras have underwire and padded cups. You can buy these bras at lingerie stores and department stores. Water Bras, Gel Bras, and Air Bras

These types of bras have special inserts inside them which contain either water, gel, or air encased in a plastic shell. These bras give the appearance of a full bust and lift the breasts to create cleavage. They basically work the same as push-up bras and padded bras, except they move more naturally with the body, and they feel more natural (not as stiff as the regular push-up and padded bras).

Water Inserts and Air Inserts

Water inserts and air inserts also work well to create fullness and cleavage. They usually move more naturally with the body than foam inserts do. They also feel more realistic than foam inserts. The main difference between water inserts and air inserts is that water inserts tend to be heavier than air inserts. Also, some air inserts are inflatable so that you can fill up as much air as you need for the look you want.

Silicone Inserts and Forms

These are by far the most realistic bra inserts. They move and feel more real than other types of inserts. Unlike most foam, water, and air inserts, silicone inserts are usually worn directly on the breasts rather than inside the bra. Some silicone inserts even have nipples on them. Also available are the silicone breast forms, which are usually larger than normal silicone inserts. Silicone forms cover the whole breast and often have very realistic-looking nipples on them. Both silicone inserts and forms come in a variety of skin tones.
