Smartbox help
I've been using Brava for 3 weeks and have a query on the smartbox. I just wondered if anyone here has any insight into this. When i place the smartbox on the recharger the green light is on. As I understand it this shows the progress, but after 3 weeks it still shows level 1 and by now it ought to be on level 2. Am I doing anything wrong here?

RE: Smartbox help
Just ignore the problem. My smartbox was exactly the same - only one of the green lights ever showed and I was even told by Brava to ignore the green lights. The only light you need to be concerned with is the "charging" light. And of course if you are sending data, then the modem light too. Those other 6 green lights can be ignored because they don't work as described by Brava. Just keep track yourself of how long you're wearing the system. Eventually there will only be one red light on the top right hand side, which according to the instructions means you completed your weeks. So when you reach that point, when you put the smartbox on the charger that "done" red light will stay on.

lol, i thought the smartbox was technologicaly advanced and that's how the high price of brava was justified, as the domes cant cost much. i had heard before that the box break down sometimes, as well as the lights not working as desecribed, but brava was supposed to be changing the system so you don't have so many lights there anyway

RE: Smartbox help
Yeah that smartbox is unnecessary. Unless you are a wild sleeper and manage to toss it off at night. . in which case the alarm would be helpful. I dropped mine after about a month of wearing the system. That is all that it took and it was done for. But I just sucked the air out of the tube from where the smartbox was supposed to attach, found a way to cork up one end of the filter, and just screwed that on once I had sucked the air out, and all was fine and good. In fact, I would recommend not even buying the smartbox. It is so expensive, and you can do what it does anyway.

I think hanumanasana's advice is good. By all accounts the smartbox isn't really necessary and for something you don't need it's very expensive. It's also notoriously temperamental so you're probably better off without it.
