I went on a consult for this fat transfer procedure to a Dr. in New York. I learned that I'm too skinny and would only increase my bust size by a 1/2 cup. The dr. also said that the procedure is still in development. The fat often calcifies and you need to have a biopsy to make sure it's not cancer. She said it happens often in patients who have had the procedure.

They quoted me a price of $12,000 which was a lot less than I was expecting, as someone had told me it was going to be $18,000. The big problem though was that for the fat transfer, the doctor would only take fat from my lower back and thighs. She said any other area runs the risk of 'dimpling' or leaving indentations from where the fat was. In any case I was too skinny which I guess is not a bad thing!

I'm wondering if this was fat transfer using the new stem cell methods or not? I get the impression that it's not using stem cells and if that's true it's probably just as well you didn't have it done. Half a cup increase wouldn't be worth it anyway, in my humble opionion, not enough to have surgery for.

No, not at that price! Especially when there doesn't seem to be any guarantee that the transferred fat is gonna stay put!
